Things officially kicked off today at
Beltwide. Thousands of cotton producers, scientists,
agronomists, consultants, extension personnel and representatives from all aspects of the cotton industry came to partake in workshops, discussions and new technology introduced to the cotton industry. Not to mention all of these people came almost at once for registration!
Delta & Pine Land and
Monsanto treated more than 160 Texas growers to this event as part of a program called "Charter for Success." This program demonstrates the companies continued
commitment to
growers by sponsoring an opportunity to be apart of this conference and
reap its vast benefits. This a first time attendance to
Beltwide for many of those growers and they are very pleased to finally have this experience. A lot of events are taking place this evening so stay tuned and I will keep you abreast of whats going on. I'll also feature feedback of the conference from several growers.
